What Does Sharp at Work do

What can Sharp at Work do for job seekers? Sharp at Work is an intermediary which represents the job seekers‘ interests. We help you with finding a job, we support and advise you during application procedures and we are there to support you after you started at your new employer. Depending on the possibilities, we always try to find you a long term job.

Sharp at Work supports you in finding / switching work with the following services:

  • Temporary work
  • Detaching
  • Payrolling
  • (International) Recruitment

Temporary work

Temporary workers are employees who are expected to be flexible. Depending on the employer’s needs it is possible that you have variable working times and hours. There are three types of temporary work; as a standby worker (you receive a call when you can work), as a part time worker or as a full time worker. Legally it is possible for you or the employer to stop at any time. Of course Sharp always aims at employing you on a long term basis.


In case of outsourcing you will have a contract for a fixed time period. Sharp at Work will be your employer, but you will execute work at our client(s) on project basis or pre determined fixed time period. At the end of the project or assignment we arrange that you can continue working on a new project or assignment. Compared to temporary work you will receive a contract with a fixed (minimum) number of hours and fixed time period (3, 6, 9, 12 months).


Payrolling is a common choice for employers when they choose to outsource administrative work and employers’ risks to Sharp at Work. The employment agreement will be between you and Sharp at Work, so in fact Sharp will be your employer. After finishing the paper work, you will have little to do with Sharp at Work because all other work related issue’s will be arranged between you and the employer.


In case of recruitment Sharp at Work will only operate as an intermediary. We represent our client solely with regard to recruiting candidates. This includes: placing an ad, screening and judging application letters and CV’s and conducting job interviews with candidates. In case you succeed in the application procedure and you get hired, that will be possible either by outsourcing or by signing a contract directly at the employer.
